Momitoring and Evaluation Specialist: Media, Communications and Public Diplomacy Full-Time Company-wide |
InterMedia is seeking Evaluation Specialists at mid and senior levels with experience in international media/communications, international exchange programs and/or international development to lead or assist with complex, multi-country evaluation projects.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
The ideal candidates will have the following mix of experience, skills and personal traits:
- Strong knowledge of/expertise in research evaluation techniques (quantitative and qualitative methodologies, questionnaire development, statistical analysis, logic models, evaluation plans, etc.).
- Strong experience in the entire evaluation cycle, from design and formulation to implementation, analysis and presentation of results and recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience with evaluations of government and international donor funded programs.
- Proven programmatic, technical, and interpersonal skills to liaise and collaborate effectively with professional colleagues, clients, partners and key stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, supervisory and project management and budgeting skills.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Government-funded programs and experience managing relationships with overseas missions preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications
- Ability to produce results in diverse cultural, social, and language contexts.
- Ability and willingness to travel overseas as required.
- Passion for discovery through data, can-do attitude and self-initiative
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree and at least 5 years (mid-level) or 10 years (senior level) experience in evaluation of international media/communications, international exchange programs and/or international development initiatives.
Positions, which are contingent upon funding, are based in Washington DC with up to 20% travel.
