Director of Finance/Assistant Treasurer Full-Time Finance and Administration |
InterMedia seeks applications from qualified individuals for the position of Director of Finance (DOF) and Assistant Treasurer. The DOF/Assistant Treasurer will serve senior management and the Board of Directors, including a Board member designated as Treasurer, to direct all financial operations. The DOF/Assistant Treasurer will play a central role in strategic planning for this firm of 40 staff in Washington, London and Nairobi, with annual revenue of approximately $13 million.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree plus CPA or equivalent qualification;
- At least eight years of increasingly responsible financial management experience that includes U.S. government contracting, grants management and strategic planning, preferably in a non-profit environment;
- Familiarity with Deltek Vision or comparable automated accounting systems and with federal tax accounting requirements for 501 (c) 3 organizations;
- Excellent communications and presentational skills;
- Demonstrated management and decision-making skills in a collegial research setting;
- Working experience in an international environment, preferably outside the United States, is a plus.
